Here is a picture of my snowman for my second set. I usually use floss threads to match the colors of fabrics. For this one, I have used black floss thread for all appliqués. My snowman is standing there in the night, staring at the sky and watching the snowflakes falling down... Hope you'll like it.

Tina, I am glad that you love my snowman. And please for sure you may copy my idea. I had made one sampler with thread matching the colors of fabrics, but I didn't like it. I couldn't see the details of the snowman. We see often see old antique quilts with appliqués done with black thread.

Denise I love your snowman with the trees & the black threads. I’ll have to do that too. I also got the same background fabric so should be fun. Hopefully that’s okay to have a mix of blocks with the same background.
