Here is my dresden for the sampler all done:) it went together beautifully:)

when using the fusible you need to sew to the outside of the line you draw not on it; also trim to about 1/8 inch when you cut it out that way it doesnt hang over edge so much. It took me about 2 hrs to cut and sew this all done. Its some work. I do not plan to do it for the 12 i made LOL. those will be hand sewn down.

I used transparent nylon to stitch it down with a blanket stitch:)

I also cut my background block 1/2 in bigger. You wont be able to place it like in book it has to point toward corners. You would need 18 inch block to place it like she has it. Just an fyi:)

I used most of the batiks I will use in my sampler:)
I left out the neutral creams and a couple reds.

I cant get the stitch by hand the way I want it. Pulled it out yesterday ugh will figure it out or will do blanket stitch on machine here soon LOL
