Is it too late to vote.....I'm slowly ffinding my feet again and have always enjoyed the swaps, and would love to take part again

1. Jar swap

2. Pigs

3. Patriotic

4. Spools

5. Mugrugs

Just as an aside, when I ran the mugrug swap before I gave everyone who joined 2 people to make for and send directly to, made it a lot easier as you have to quilt and bind the mugrugs, so more work than just making a block - I'm happy to do either

Would also like to see something like teacups/teapots......shops/buildings - you know like quaint little stores we'd all like to visit or have it bring back memories of the little stores/buildings we used to visit....just a thought

I've updated the list once again. don't stop voting. When the butterflies are done we will have Christmas starting in July then the biggest vote getter will be next.

I have been thinking a lot about your questions. I have only participated in a couple of swaps, but decided to add my vote, if it's not too late:

I am not sure what the jar swap means????

Part one:
Spools
Pigs
Cats
Dresdan or IceCream (like them both equally)
Autograph would be quite fun - I know you have done this
already, so probably won't do it again.

Part two:
I would NOT participate in a roving box. Too expensive and too much chance of the post office loosing the whole thing!!!

A huge vote of THANKS for all the Hostesses. You put so much fun and joy into managing these and making them fair and delightful for all of us. There is so much time and skill into planning and organizing the whole event. You just don't get enough praise for what you contribute.

I want to be sure to stand up and say THANK YOU very, very much for a job well done!!!!!

Velda, here are few links to make a jar quilt. The blocks consist of "jars" pattern. You can use fabrics such as fruits, bugs, candies etc. You can make it as a "I Spy jar quilt". It is fun to make and is perfect for a black background.

And I agree with you, a huge vote of thanks for the hostesses.

Thanks Velda,

Vinae, Tina and I have really tried to come up with a basic set of rules. We've done a lot of tweaking and think we've got it right. They sure are less chaotic and drama filled than in the past.

It's hard to tell someone their blocks are too small or not within the swap guidelines. but we're doing it and think this has gone a long way towards giving swappers fun and an even trade for the blocks they send in.

Keep those ideas coming.

Thanks for the links. I saved them to watch and study later. There are a lot of ideas there for making various quilts with them.

Part 1. Cats! I may join that one.
Crazy Chickens would be fun (chickens in fun colors, blues, greens, brights) maybe next year...

Part 2- no
