I got a box of really cool stuff for Valentine's Day from Larie - ljautumn! Along with a note, she sent me a True Blue charm set, a small heart pillow with old-fashioned flower & doily heart fabric with lace on the edge, a bag of M&Ms, a bookmark with lovely old-fashioned roses and birds, a tiny notepad with the words “Love is the poetry of the senses” on the front, two sets of dimensional stickers from Jolees, a spool of deep red thread, a beautiful notepad with embossed edges that look lacy, and a mini travel sewing kit. Larie sent some wonderful things for me to use and enjoy! Thank you, thank you.

Thank you to Christine - Quilto! My box was jammed packed full of goodies!

I received:
- an old fashioned crocheted doilly
- a charm pack of Clemintine from Moda (I love it!)
- a crazy eights pattern that I may use for DS quilt for college
- straw needles (never heard of and am anxious to use)
- a marshmallow lollipop heart (which DD claimed immediately!)
- yummy chocolate!
- flower head pins (never have enough of these!)
- all in a wonderful project bag which I need desperately!

And the piece de resistance - a quilted crazy heart wall hanging which is absolutely fabulous!!! I am so blown away that you would send this to me!!! Thank you so very much and thank you for all the goodies!!

I will try to take a picture of the wall hanging and post it this weekend!

Beth, i am sorry i didn't get right on line to let you know i had received my huge box of goodies. i have been having problems with mother in law.
i want to thank you for all the items you sent me and the wonderful letter and pix of your quilts.
well for something 'old fashion' i received a book of old fashion valetines. i received recipe for something with chocolate, 'something red' was nice fat quarters,the something with hears was even more fat quarters, the something with lace was the prettest table runner, something sinfully delicious was this cute little pair of red overalls stuffed with candy. something romantic was a new novel, i also received a kite for a tote bag (with love tote bag' i can't wait until i can get started on it. i also recived a cute valentine with a pin to wear and some heart shapped notes. i hope i haven't forgotten anything, it just blew me away. it came when i was really stressed and down in the dumps. it helped me over a hump with taking care of my ex-mother in law.
thank you agains for my lovely box and for hosting this swap. it was a lot of fun.

Looks like the postal person has just three more to deliver... Now that we have been through this is there any suggestions to make this experience better... Glad to hear you got the package. I would love to say I did the embroidery but to my knowledge my machine,a Janome 6600 is not setup for that. Maybe I should look into whether it can or not. What you think is hand stitching is really my machine doing the work. I have loved playing with all the different designs and thought you would like this one. If you would like to do one yourself it is actually a kit of the month from JoAnn's. My DH liked it so much so I had to make one using fabric from my stash. It was quick and easy and can be stitched in any way.
I love to read and I didn't know if you were homebound because of the weather so I made sure to include the books. Glad to hear you will be enjoying everything.

My Secret Cupid was Deb and I am sorry for not posting earlier! I am the matron of honor in a wedding next month and I am all wrapped up in details for that! Matron of Honor at 53 years of age is not easy! I have the wedding quilt to finish... favors to help stuff.... dress fittings.... bachlorette party to plan.... showers.... Calgon Take Me AWAY!

Anyway the box of treats from Deb was a nice surprise... romantic CD's, a picture frame for my sweet grandaughter... a box of chocolates tucked away until after the wedding....some old fashioned hankies... a red jello mold and some shoe laces in hot colors.
