I had a wonderful surprise in the mail when I got home today!! My sweet tote pal was DebbieLynn!! Pink roses on a light background..so me and I just LOVE it. She wrapped goodies inside in two- 1/2 yds of the prettiest yellow floral fabrics tied w/ribbon. I have a little note book, a hanging holder that says "When Life Gives You Scraps Make a Quilt" and some fiber soak. Thank you Debbie!! Just perfect!!

Oh my! Now that I am getting caught up here and reading the previous posts, I see where the Person who had me as their Tote Swap partner had to drop out in December. (see earlier posts by Tulpje in this topic) I would like to know why I was not notified of this through PM from the Hostess, and what happened with this? Did the ball just get dropped there or did our hostess give my name to the person who had Tulpje's name? Obviously not! Wouldn't that have been the logical thing to do.
I also sent Michelle06H a PM on 2/3/09 requesting info on my partner in which I was mailing my tote and still have not had a response, luckily I was able to retrieve the info I needed and fulfill my obligation to this swap.

DebbieLynn---I had tulpje and when she had to drop out due to medical reasons Michelle said to go ahead and make her a tote and someone else was covering her tote obligation. Due to the severe ice storms and weather I bet Michelle is off line right now. I just sent you a pm.

Well, I am glad to see that my choice to go ahead and not host another swap again was a good chice to make.

Tuljpe was sick and didn't want to pass on her illness to someone else, so she dropped out. I figured it would be a nice surprise for her to get a tote anyway, so when I got a few pm's from people offering to make a tote to cover for Tulpje, I didn't see a problem with that. I am sorry it has upset you Debbielynn. But I still think it was sound choice to be made and stand by it.

I will be losing the internet in the next week or so, I will try and keep the list updated as much as possible until then. We'll be moving very quickly and I am actually hoping to be out of here by the 23rd.
