Mary,
The fabric is Debbie Beaves "Heirloom Lilacs" 2006 by RJR fabrics. I found it on sale at a quilt store in Illinois. She was closing out last years stock. Then I found the green and beige at a quilt show here in CA. Again it was stock from the year before. I haven't been able to find it again either. I had seen it in 2005 in the "Connecting Threads" catalog and I really liked the 2005 co-ordinating fabrics better but wasn't able to find them again either. Isn't that always the case? Should have followed that gut instinct and bought it when I first saw it !! LOL

Majik
That was funny- Actually I was reading the thread and thinking about what I would use and your selection jogged my brain about this fabric I collected on a trip up the Oregon coast. I haven't actually laid my hands on it yet - but know it is in the closet. I thought I would make it for DH and now is the time.
It will be fun to see how they turn out.

Mary and Ruth - I just checked on Ebay and did a search for "heirloom lilacs" - there are several different styles of this collection in the "stores" part of Ebay. Are either of you familiar with Ebay???
Hope this helps! :0)!!

Okay Carolyn and Alina,
I guess I have to admit that my addiction is my own since I helped Alina get started. But darn it, she's the one who got me hooked on this forum!! I have to say I really enjoy it now that I'm learning how it works.
Thanks you two, for showing me the error of my thinking!!

Welcome Minnie: Well, I don't know - I usuallly buy at least a yard of everything because I know I will use it eventually. Make sure you have at least 4 fabrics. I purchased a focus fabric, a border and a few 1/2 yards and FQs to coordinate. Ladies, what do you think?
