Crazy Quilt Swap - Homeward Bound

Thank you! I've got tons of lace and ribbon from years of making clothes for my 3 girls, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to use up some of them. I really found this to be a lot of fun.

I've always admired Crazy Quilts and have always wanted one, but have been afraid to try it. I think this will be SO neat!!

I'm not accustomized to do crazy quilt. it's still new to me. I've only made 3 very small projects. Hope I'll draw level with you all!!!

I'm with you on this--- pretty much a newbie, and hope mine will be to everyone's liking. I don't really have much of a scrap pile, so I'm going to pick and choose my fabrics from my stash- which will, I *hope* make it easier to pick things that match or blend well together.

I know your blocks will be wonderful--- everything I've ever seen from you has been!

I love them! So pretty--- I can't decide which I like better-- I love purple, but I LOVE roses! I need to make one of those for myself. My needles are always falling out of their sleeve into the storage box. A holder would be very handy!

Oh! Thank you all for your compliments! I have one block done, will try to do some embellishments. Not sure yet what it will be, may be some embroidery!

Was there ever a decision made as to whether we were doing Plain Crazy or Victorian blocks? I just luv the Victorian ones. I also am using mostly CW scraps as well as some calico. That pretty much is all I buy. I have a few other style fabrics but only from swaps. If we are going Plain Crazy, I may have to dig in some of my friends scraps. Let me know.
