It's going to be a sampler--theme is President's wives (at least, that's the last I heard) so we'll have a block a month rather than a quilt a month, and lot's of history, I'm sure.

Sally, when will it be announced? In your last BOM meeting? I like the idea of the sampler. I couldn´t keep up with the 1-3 quilts a month. There are some of the projects I´ll do in the years to come but I couldn´t help but feel disappointed on myself for not being able to tackle them all.

Should be announced next class (since we ususally get to sign up in December at the Party. Don't feel bad--most people couldn't keep up (including most of the in class people!) I just have a reputation to maintain! Besides, most of mine are not quilted yet, oops!
Did get another In the Pines done, at least the top, and hope to get both quilted before class! It will be nice to just do a block (or 2, maybe 3--she'll probably have a 12" and a 6" block each month, so people can choose between a bed size or a wall hanging--I might just try another one with 3"--I know, I'm crazy!)

Sally, you did a great job of keeping us up to date on the class projects. Not to mention all the beautiful & creative quilts you have shown us.

I think I can speak for everyone and THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We had to have some major repairs done to our house, so I haven't really been in my sewing room for a couple of months now (did a few maple leaves for Lotto is all). I really did plan on keeping up with this, but as it goes, life gets in the way sometimes.

I look forward to your "REPORTS" for the next BOM if you decide to do it again.

Thanks, Sally! I just like finishing things up..hehe.. I also love watching the videos and I might sign up for next year´s BOM. I love the idea of including history with it. I love when Eleanor tells us about how the block originated and stuff like that. I would probably do the 6", 3" might be too small for me (although I love doing miniature stuff). I look forward to your report next week.

I wasn't planning on joining next year, because the small items, while very beautiful, just aren't my "thing." So, I'm happy to hear that Eleanor is planning a sampler--that is so much more "do-able", just one block per month.............
