Well, I had to change my block because the other one wouldn't work right for the fabric I was planning on using. Soooooooooo here's my block, it's called Bali Sea Star, I think it looks like a star with ribbon around it, reminds me of Christmas ribbon )

Tina - WOW block!!! Love the fabrics and the colors.

My block is definitely antique. Ruth, Denise and I enjoyed searching for it on my Kindle Fire and their IPhone6+'s. Lots of giggles, Oooooo and Ahhhhhh. It is from The Union Quilter's Book by Jenifer Chiaverini called the Gettysburg Block. It is also found in one of her Quilt Block books. Different colorways to choose from which is nice.

You can also find it in the Quiltmaker's 100 block Magazine, Winter 2011 Volume #4 but I don't have this magazine. Wonder if this magazine would be a good investment? Yes/No??

This weekend, I''''m going to dig out my Christmas fabric and see what I can come up with.. I''''m thinking "Grandmother''''s Fan" at quilters cache. But I''''ll make a test block first and post a picture when I get it done before I commit!
