Re: Pastel Charm Square Swap
I got mine today, too!!! Just to let you all know, you have unwittingly participated in making a quilt for a young lady that my younger brother has "adopted", she witnessed a fatal motorcycle accident while on a charity ride last year. The charity was in the name of one of our fallen heroes (You may remember the story of the Dog named Hero - it was this soldier), and this young lady has entered the military herself. My brother requested a quilt for her, and when I asked what season she reminds her of, he said, SUMMER, so I am going to make a nice, light-hearted quilt for her to have after she gets done with basic and AT, when she gets her posting.

Mine have arrived too. I just happened to be out front when the mailman drove up and handed me my package. I was so excited, I had to run inside and rip it open and spill out all the pretty charms. I have looked thru them all, several times. LOL What a delightful assortment to work with, the whole pastel rainbow is in there.
Lori, thank you so much for putting this all together. You are an angel for the day to all who are receiving their pkg this week. You made our day. May God bless you and all who participated.
So much pretty fabric to look over and decide how to use it all. What an inspiration! I don't think there are any repeats except from the same person if you got two of theirs. Tina, what a nice thought to give us all those pretty, spring green ones to intermix with the floral for a beautiful flower garden.
Thanks again everyone. Can you tell I am excited???? LOL Great big pastel hugs to you all. Shirley Mae/ittybittygma

Cindy that sounds like a really nice thing to do.
Tina, glad it made your day a little brighter.
Shirley Mae, lol....you sound like me. I love to get packages in the mail no matter what they are.
Teresa, I'm going to make a Buckeye Beauty from "Quilts Through the Seasons" book. I'm going to send it to Ann for the Merryman house charity. So in a way it will be from all of us.
Glad they are arriving already.
