Mine is done except the binding!!!!
I'm doing a happy dance because I thought I was going to have to come back and say I couldn't do it.

yay, Vicky! with whole days to spare! Can't wait to see all the portraits. Have we heard from our last two participants lately? We have just 5 days to deadline and it's getting exciting!

I can't wait to post and start the voting. Because I have seen everyones (except Jodies, I have been figuring and "it isn't easy" on who I want to vote for!)

Well, ladies, I thought I would get there, but I just can't get past the rib pain. I guess I did too much too soon, and it still hurts more now than it did 2 weeks ago! I had it all planned, collecting fabrics that illustrate my loves and interests until the end of school, then a whole month left to cut and sew...even this week, I thought I could get it done, but here it is Thursday, and I'm still tomorrowing! So, instead of participating, I've sent an email to my doctor. I laid out all the fabrics at the beginning of the week and took pictures with my phone. I sketched and then modified my plan, but I just can't get past the pain to cut! I'm pretty sure I could sew, but that won't get me anywhere if I can't cut up the fabrics first. And so, sadly, I must throw in the towel and opt out. I can hardly wait to see all the rest of you done up in fabric and thread!
