Oh, yeah. I stopped at daffodill daze armed with three 50% coupons, and got all the QIAD flying geese rulers and triangle in a square.

Maybe some month we might need the triangle in a square ruler for block of the month? Hint hint.

Ok ladies - here's my prototype block. I had a rotary accident - somehow I sliced into my center pieces and had to go find new flowers to fussy cut. I think they commited fabricide.

And Teressa, I discovered my biggest problem is that I was moving my needle over the wrong way!! I have now marked my machine to show me right from left

I used the triangle square up ruler which was very fun. I also have that triangle within a square thing Pam purchased. I've had these rulers for 10 years, I bet! They sure were glad to get to come out and play.

Sharona - OMG when you said Rotary accident I thought you were going to say finger - Whew!!!! Your prototype block is FABulous!!!!
Fabricide? That is a creative word that I don't want to experience. Sorry to hear it BUT your centers are very very pretty. I know that fabric well.
I am so glad you figured out your needle placement. I am forever telling myself ... No!!! The other left :) :)

Pam - fabric soaked with evil little trickster essence? LOVE IT!!!! I do believe you found out the secret. Of course we can't blame ourselves. It's never our fault!!!

Let me know how you are doing as far as mailing. HAPPY MONDAY!!!

Teresa, Lisa and my blocks are on their way. Tracking number is 03111660000029632592. Hopefully they will arrive by Friday. And yes, I forgot to take pictures so that anticipation will just mount until they arrive. Oh, I made 4 and Lisa made 4.

Ethan and I mailed the blocks this morning -- here is the tracking number - 0311 0820 0002 0561 7637 - that is the delivery confirmation number - they should be there on Wednesday -

Hope that the hand is better -

Oh yes - if you have any questions about how I labeled - just ask - hope that it works!

Hi Theresa,

I made 4 blocks for the April block lotto. It was great using El's ruler again. I should use it more often. I sent my 4 blocks in with Jo. Everyone's block look great. Can't wait to see what is for May.

Hi Pals - Thanks so much for letting me know you mailed your blocks!!! I am so excited to see them in person and it is almost time!!!!!!!!!!!

Maryq - I HIT THE JACKPOT!!! or I should say the wee little ones in the hospital did. You tiny hats are ADORABLE and so inspirational. I can't wait to be able to make some more. THANK YOU BEYOND WORDS!!!!!

I do believe I NEED TO HEAR SOME POETIC BRIBES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHO WANTS TO WIN!!!!!!! I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is also one of those times where putting off till tomorrow what you probably could have done today took a different direction for me.
My left hand is splinted with a major sprain and stretched tendons and I only made 1 block with the intentions of making more :(
If I am able to make more I will. No promises right now though.

Wait till you see what I have in store for May :) :)

GREAT JOB THIS MONTH!!!!!!!!!!! HUGE HUGS TO YOU ALL!!!!!!!!

T, I love the rulers. It's like the difference between peeling cucumers with a peeler vs a paring knife. You can do it with either, but the one way is so much easier. I don't know if I will be done to mail, today. Will let you know as soon as I get them sent.

Pam - I LOVE that analogy! So true. The rules made it so much easier and a lot more accurate.
