Happy day! Thank you so much, debf618 (Deb). That pattern is great. And I have some fabric from some other projects just waiting to be used again that will be beautiful for this flag banner. Just love the words on it, "Vote for Quilting!" Certainly gets my vote! That will be my first project after I get my wedding quilt done--the wedding is Oct 11! I gotta get going on it--I'm gettin' there and having a real ball doing it. HUGS, carol/kittyquilt

Thank you so much Redsaltbox (Anna) for my fabric, pattern, hot pad and the dog bones. My lab thanks you too. I just love the fabric and can't wait to do something with it. Thanks again.

Happy sewing,

mamaw/Nancy, thank you so much for being my secret pal this month! I got your thoughtful gifts: a beautiful charm pack (love the fabrics!), a quilty bookmark, and some post-it page markers (will come in real handy while reading quilt magazines). I also like the card you sent me. I imagine that's what it looks like on the coast in Maine. :) It was very nice to read your note and learn a little about you. Thanks again! Lori

Sharon (Grammy2)

Wow! Thank you for being MY secret pal this month. I rec'd your package in the mail today. (DH keeps saying I need to quit or get a bigger mail box! lol) The pattern, FQs and note cards were perfect! Oh, and Aurora said TY for her treats! Your Sammy is cute too! Aurora still weighs only 3 1/2-4 lbs. She turned one yesterday and we are having a B-day party for her this weekend (her littermates are coming too).

Thanks again for such a thoughtful package.

kenderosa, thanks for my goodies!! I am saving my purple FQ's for a special project. I have been searching for a pattern to use with all of them. I have been looking at this apron pattern for a looooong time, so how did you know??? Thanks for your info. It is always interesting to learn more of my forum sisters.

I had to look up where you are & I see that you aren't far from Houston. How did you make out with Ike??? Did you have to evacuate too? It is surpising to me that people as far north as NY, PA, and KY had problems with this one.

Thanks again, Sharon V.

I just received my goodies from KatieKoala. What a surprise! I love everything I got. I like to do stitchery so the patterns are perfect. I love the Yoyos. I started making them about a year ago and haven't finished any project yet but now I can go through my christmas fabric and pick it up.

The labels are great, I will definitely use them. And the block you sent will be treasured always. I will put it in a special quilt.

In your note, you said Spring had finally sprung and we're just heading into Fall/Winter. I'm hoping for a mild Winter.

Thank you again, I loved it all!
Hugs! Debbie

What a surprise! Cindy B. had me as her September secret pal! And she did a bang-up job of being one terrific secret pal. Of course, you know I absolutely LOVE the Kansas Troubles fat quarters you sent me! Yippe skipppy!!!! Thank you for the two post-it notepads and the quilter's bookmark. I will definitely put these items to good use! Also thank you for the beautiful bracelet. You really outdid yourself, Cindy! And what a sly little fox you were when you emailed me to tell me that my secret pal told you my gift would be in the mail in a couple of days!!! Yep...I fell for it hook, line, and sinker!!!!!! Thank you, Cindy, for your wonderful SP gifts and for all you do to organize this Secret Pal activity. It's a lot of fun 'meeting new friends' through this activity...or in our case- renewing our friendship! ;-)
Love ya, Girlfriend! Hugs~Marcia

PS Hope you are mending well. Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers.
