Hi, Mine are on the way but I am almost too embarassed to send them..being a newbie I tried to apply a principle I was taught in another class so I wouldnt lose the points and instead thats precisely what I did I lost most of the points.. if you get my blocks you can ditch them or send them to good will or use them as this is what not to do... if nothing else my fabrics are pretty... you live and learn.. thanks for your patience.

Beth, we were all newbies at one time. We will love your blocks no matter what. Even if we have to make a few adjustments it will be nice to have some from you. You will never be an oldie if you don't get in some practice!

Re: MAY LOTTO BLOCK!!!!
Beth, I agree with "We".
That is one of fun aspects of this lotto, we all sew differently and they are all treasured. I have learned to do so many different things in the process of making my lotto blocks. I just brought out a UFO and thought "what was I thinking" when I saw how "not even" it was. So I'll just shape it up and finish it off.
Please don't stress, these lotto blocks/drawings are so much fun and the winners are so thrilled!

Re: MAY LOTTO BLOCK!!!!
Beth, I got your blocks today,,,they are very pretty and you are harder on yourself than we are. They will be fine,,I find that a lot of little flaws are not noticeable once the top is put together and quilted. If I knew what method you used to make them, maybe some of us could give you some pointers on how to keep your quarter inch on the sides. I used to have a problem with that, but I dont remember what I was doing wrong.( no surprise, I cant remember my own name these days).Im sure yours will be fine,,,remember ,when you look at them individually you notice more than when they are in a top and the attention is not focused on one block. You will catch on. Dont worry about being a Newbie,,we are all new at one technique or another.I have been quilting about 20 years and I still cant do a Double Wedding ring,,,so if I make one, Ill use Els fusible way. God Bless, Caroline
