donnacrazylady, I love purple! Sounds pretty. Littlebit is right on target with her answer. We're staying away from really light fabric. The lattice in the Summer Porch quilt is usually very light or white and we want the flowers to "pop" at us. So medium to dark colors is great.

I'm going to be off for a while. My son is home on military leave from Iraq and we are off to Arkansas to visit the grandparents. Beautiful weather here today - all that rain washed the sky clean! Absolutely gorgeous!

Oh Evie, (((Hug))) your son for me! I'm so happy that he is home with you for awhile. My son was in Iraq when they first went in and spent a year there. God bless him and all the military personel for serving our country.

I mailed my charms today. I wanted to get them to you before they got lost in my sewing room! LOL! Happy Easter to all!

Thanks Abbigail. It's nice having him home. Hopefully, he will be home in June, for a while. Never know when they will send him out again. I bet the year your son was over there was probably the longest year of your life.

All fabric received so far is absolutely georgeous! I know all of you will be happy with the selection of fabrics.

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter! This is the first time in 3 years we had both boys at the table with us.
