January Secret Pals

Received my secret pal gift yesterday from Marilynsgrammy all the way from Castro Valley, CA. Loved my little charm pack of 5" squares. It's the 1st one I've gotten. As luck would have it, last night at my local Guild meeting the speaker was a local gal, Heather
Peterson, who publishes patterns under the name "Anka's Treasures".
She has a new line of table runner patterns and a couple of books using 5" charms. I picked up a couple of the patterns and am anxious to try them with my new little charm pack. Loved the polka dot fabric wrapping and will put it to good use in a kid's quilt.

Susan, I am so so glad you liked the charm pak...The reason I used fabric to wrap it is because all I could find was Christmas paper,

We were at the new house last nite, started out the driveway and I said better check the mail, so my husband turned the car around on the snow and ice, and lo and behold, a sweet little package in the box just for me! What a nice surprise for my weary body and soul. (This moving is getting us down)

So thank you Hummingbird, for the beautiful fabrics and the smelly soap! It will be at the new house this morning, making it smell like "home"! And I especially liked the sentiments you included on your card.

My secret pal gift will be in the mail soon, so to my friend, south and east of Idaho, please be patient.

Becky, I'm glad you got the package. I hope you can use it. It was fun to send something to NY. I looked up your town on a map so I could see where I was mailing it to. Maybe this swap will help me with my geography too! Added bonus!

I received my package from Deb - dsf618. WOW! She sent me a table runner pattern, as well as the fabric to make it, including the backing. Black & white prints, not my usual scrappy project, and I love it! What a great gift! I had to sit down last night and cut it out, and got the top pieced. Hope to finish it tonight. Thank you so much for a wonderful gift.

Many thanks to Marie for the lovely valentine fabrics that she sent in her own handmade Fabric cover. Its all really nice. All the way from PA as well.
I have a problem however, I never received the name of the person I am to be a secret pal to. How do I go about finding out that information, I am a newbie on here!!
