Lori (Sadiesaisy)
Thank-you for sending a postcard for Martha. It is wonderful to know that she is cute and friendly and baking pies for you in Bend, Oregon. Tell her that her card was the first to arrive. They are a little competitive. I will put the postcard next to her photo in the scrapbook.

Carolyn, forgot to mention the one I've received is "Sherry". She is so cute and guess what... she asked me this morning if we can go shopping at my LQS. LOL

Carolyn, you are very welcome. That was a cute idea to ask for a postcard for your scrapbook. It will be fun to see where everyone ended up. I wonder what the mail person thought when they read it. :)

I received postcards today from Pete, who is now sailing in New Hampshire. I am sure he loves it there and I bet the fall leaves will be breathtaking. It might be too cold for him to go sailing in the winter maybe he will learn to go sledding.
Freida and her Flamingo along with Henry are in Northern California, near the Russian River. They must have loved traveling together. Henry likes the Flamingo so I am sure he hopped in the same envelope so he could play with it. I know that Henry will get a garden growing soon. Freida must love seeing the egrets I know I did when I went to graduate school on the northern California Coast.

I got sidelined by other swaps. I did buy fabric for sashing and backing though. I hope I'll get mine done in the next month or two. We'll see. But here's a good tip I just learned. I have them all laid out how I *think* I'm going to put them together, but I have company coming and will have to put them all in a stack (they are on the guest bed right now) so I'm going to take a picture of them and when I'm ready I'll know exactly how I had them. It took me days of rearranging to be happy with the placement so this will help a lot! I hope this idea helps someone else too. I'm looking forward to seeing photos from everyone.

Sadiedaisy-that is a good tip for layouts. Another friend of mine lays hers out on a sheet and then pins them in place and folds it all up so that she can remember where she laid out each one.

Mine won't get put together for awhile so it will be fun to see what everyone else is doing.....

My scrapbook with the postcards that my Sues are sending is in progress and will be posted when I get it done too :)
