Good choice Beverly, I like both blocks but I also agree about the single candle, it's perfect.

I was able to get my fabric fused and tomorrow will cut out my shapes. As soon as I have a sample block I will post a picture. I'm hoping for next week.

Still thinking about doing a second block.

Well I think I'll have a short break in my painting, I just need to do the window trim pieces for 2 windows and then I should be able to start mine. The next step painting it high up and I'll just be there to steady the ladder, I'll let him get across the 42' first before I start the part that I can reach with the extension.

Okie dokie Chriss, to me it's easier to make 1 or 2 blocks to come up with the number if blocks I need for a quilt then to make a whole other set unless you're just wanting 2 sets. LOL I've done that before but it was because I wanted 2 sets.
