Valerie - is visiting me on Sunday on her way down to LA so she will be delivering her blocks by hand - YEA!!!! It is always great to see her Might even get everything together so she can be the "Hand of the Picker"!!!

Mary - wonderful blocks!! A few more colors to add to the quilts! You are very WELCOME!!!!

April - Absolutely LOVE your 12.5" block. Looks so much more vibrant in person and you blocks are FABulous!!!

Made it through 2 birthdays this week but I didn't have time to make my 12 1/2 " block. I kept thinking I would get it done.

I did mail my blocks today and they should arrive Monday at Teresa's.

Valerie arrived at 12:23pm and we have been enjoying a day of chatting, sewing 3 borders on a quilt with mitered corners and chatting as we worked, dinner of pulled pork/buns/coleslaw/chips/cheesecake w/ strawberry pie, chatting, watching 24 and bed soon. All this and her blocks as well - YES is a GRAND DAY!

Marcia's and Debbie's blocks should arrive tomorrow

Hi ALL
I have one more package to arrive tomorrow per tracking. The Hand of the Picker has chosen the names of the WINNERS but I will wait till the package arrives! Thinking positive!!!

Rob helped me organizing the blocks that have already arrived after Valerie left for LA. Everything is almost ready to mail once Debbie's blocks arrive.

Had a great visit with Teresa and Rob. Have hand delivered my blocks (been wanting to do that a long time!) and now anxiously await the hand of the picker!

Will be in LA for about a week. My sister is continuing her treatment for brain cancer. Tues and Wed will be a series of various tests and then Thursday the surgery. If all is well, I will go home on Sunday. Not looking forward to the LA traffic but she is joining a research study group and will be getting her treatment at Cedar Sinai.
