The days are cold, skies dark and grey,
off to the sewing room to sew and 'play'…
colours so bright, they make me smile,
reminds me of summer time, shan't see that for a while!
reds, blues, greens all flowers in my mind,
petals in the wind are fluttering all of a kind.
threads and fabrics celebrating dreams of summer time,
basking in warmer colours, oh how sublime…
friends joining friends in the making of summer
collecting beautiful blocks, all are quilters treasure
soon will come the time for feelings of glee
who will be the winners, lets just wait and see
love jacquie xxx

Mine are coming along nicely. I should be mailing next week. These colors are just so pretty. Some of them are more what I would call pastel, but they are supposedly brights. Guess it's a matter of opinion. lol.

Izzy, that was so sweet of you to say so! I'm very pleased you enjoyed my poem!
The poems are always a lovely part of the lotto each month... It makes you reflect on the love and joy of our sewing, It's oh so much more than just fabric, isn't it!?!
It appears only us 'cotton pals' have that kind of understanding
Love and hugs deary!! xxx

Valerie - They usually send you a tracking number. I would call them up with your order # and ask what is happening. Do not delay. They need to know as well.
Velda and Lyn - received your blocks today - WONDERFUL!!!!! Love the color combinations!!! Thanks for sending the rogue blocks. Believe it when I tell you ... you need more of those blocks than you do the 9-patch.
I did up the design in EQ6 using the picture as a guide. You would need (18) 9-patch, 17 squares, 48 strip blocks, 24 edge triangle and 4 corner triangles to make a 60 x 77.
This is definitely a great quilt to make using solid or TOT scraps.
Lyn - This was a FREEBIE MONTH. So I will credit you 1 month

No fabric today, I checked the tracking number which originally said expected delivery today. Now it says NA. I will call them tomorrow. Maybe sitting this one out.
Update Thursday AM - Tracking now says expected delivery 1/17/13. This is coming from Vancouver, WA. Now, my sis sends me stuff from Seattle and it gets here in 2 days. I ordered on the 6th. They shipped on the 9th. That is over a week from 2 states away! Are they using Pony Express?

I'm getting ready to box mine up to send, but of course, I have a last minute question.
Do you want them to be the same... ie green pink green/pink green pink w/a solid green and a solid pink? Or can they be purple/red/purple -- green orange green w/a solid blue and a solid yellow? That would give more diversity, but either way is okay with me.
And, you get 1 ticket for every set of 2, regardless of what they are... does that mean for every 2 9-patches, which is 1/3 of a set, you get 1 ticket... so you'd get 3 tickets for each set?
And what is a "block"? When you say you've received 20 blocks, does that mean 20 various pieces or does that mean 20 sets... so 120 pieces? I'm old and get confused the more I think. lol.
