Ok, teresa, I guess I could step in for beth and do the present block. Like the one I did last year. Put me down and I will start digging and see if I can get them done right away. I have a big quilt project going but I keep doing just a little at a time as I don't want to mess it up. So, if no one has taken the present, put me down.

Even though I've just retired I seem to be busier than ever. I feel if I join this swap it will get me in my sewing room. I'm also house sitting for my nephew in August and think I will take my sewing machine with me!

OK - My fault - I acted in haste which I should have learned not to by now after having a DD of 30yrs.

Beth is feeling loads better after a good night and everything has calmed. Her block was the same as Linda's but I told her that we can never have to many presents under the tree. She has found an awesome present that will fit in perfectly and all is good.

While all this was happening and I thought Beth was asking for an out (UGH stupid me - I was tired and should have prayed and gone to bed and then re-read in the morning) I had asked Jo if she would like to step in for Beth.

Jo replied yes. So I am waiting to hear from Jo if she still wants to stay with us or if she will continue working on her big project. I do not want to overload her. She is doing such awesome work!
If Jo is staying with us then her block will be our Christmas pillow to use as a gift for someone or to rest our heads when we finish stitching our quilts together.

My apologies for the confusion. I need to learn to wait, wait and then wait until the light of day.

I will never turn anyone away so I hope this is good for everyone.

I will let you know which was it is so KEEP WATCH on the count - we are full at 20 or 22. No more after this ;

Hi, Teresa. I will just sit on the sidelines for this year as long as you have a full group. I was just trying to step up so that there would be enough blocks and no one would have to make extra. I will continue with my big project. I will post a picture of what I have so far later tonight in the photos section. Right now I am on my laptop in my sewing room and it does NOT like to post pictures anywhere.

Thanks for thinking of me and if you should need me to fill in, just let me know, I can probably whip them up quickly.

I will keep and eye on this thread to see how everyone is doing, so please post all kinds of pictures.

I have made a huge dent in 2 quilts today! LOL I am taking a little break right now because my back starting hurting pretty bad and I remember last time I tried to ignore and just get finished I ended up being down for a couple weeks....don't want that to happen again, especially with all that I have to get done )
I love love love! the blocks being posted! They are beautiful! This is going to be another wonderful quilt ladies! You all are doing a great job! I'm so happy that I joined this swap!
