Has anyone else received an improved 'ugly'? My project for Dorothy is almost done.

Irishgram, your formerly ugly fabric is on its way to you. I hope you will like what I did with it. I think it turned out well.

I hope you've taken a picture and can post it...My camera seems to be living at my DD's house for the time being....
I am so thrilled, can't thank you enough.....

I'm glad you like it. It's the same house pattern we used for the Scrappy House Swap in 2009. It looks like the 'picture' of the house was made on a cloudy day, and most of your 'ugly' is on the back of the projects so you don't have to look at it.
) And I did take a picture.....

Donna, I am so glad you posted a picture.....
Are they special? I just love them....To be able to take my ugly fabric and create what she did, she certainly did work magic....And what talent, all the corners and lines are perfect....I'm so happy with them.....

Thank you for the compliments. I don't know how many times I picked out stitches and re-did portions of the stitch in the ditch around the house. There are lots of tied threads on the back.
Chriss, I have your appliqued house out of my first 'ugly' hanging on my sewing room wall next to the sewing machine. It has the pink boa from QIAD's Strip Tzz Block Party draped across the top. And I use the pincushion/thread catcher all the time. And sewcarolyn's Sunbonnet Sue bag has been in several states with me. Now quiltforlovedones' pincushion/threadcatcher will be the one I use when I'm downstairs doing handsewing instead of upstairs machine sewing. This is a great swap!
