Her box was a week early so it did sit here tempting me for quite awhile..She did lots of nice things as well.

I RECEIVED MINE from BARBARA! WOOHOO!!!!! at the same time as my SP for Jan so I was doubly blessed. When I came home I was so excited to see 2 packages that I was a bad girl for I became a little kid on Christmas who was so eager to open all the packages that I think I mixed and matched when I tried to put the items in the right boxes so I could make sure I thanked the right person. LOL. My DH had this grin on his face especially when I read your letters out loud.
So let me tell you about what Barbara sent me and hopefully not leave anything out ... I did write a message in the SP postings about what Beth sent me and how blessed I was. I am just so excited!!!!!!
A gorgeous table runner made with hearts, lace and beautiful quilting which she said was her first attempt. A cross stitch kit with lots of hearts, fabric of different reds and whites made into the shape of a star wrapped in lace(Ingeneous), The panel from Teresa's Victory Garden with some luscious blue to go with it (when I looked it up it said it was an apron but i don't have the heart to make it one and I can't wait to get good enough on my LA to quilt it), Maxine's Dilemma recipe and story to go with it and a red lollipop, and an ergo seam ripper. I also got some tea lights with hearts in them but don't know which package they came in. I am so bad. I'm sorry but the excited kid just came out of me. What treasures to behold from both these lovely women that I am starting to get to know!!!
A wonderful letter that will make me think twice about complaining when my DH (63yrs old) gets onnery. That is one of the fears I have as I get older. I don't want to be a burden on my family. I hope your children and grandchildren are around to help you but that you all also take joy when she is not being a handful and has stories to share. My heart goes out to you, your mom and your family.
I have found music to play such a huge part in our lives in so many ways so it is such a joy to hear you are learning to play the piano. The only thing stopping me is that I have a hard time remembering and I hate the fear of failure so my piano sits. Feel free to beat me upside the head now. LOL.
I loved the story about your daughter and her dresses. It reminded me of my own daughter when she was young. She used to go through many different outfits a day and it showed at the end of the week when laundry time hit. LOL
WOW I can't even begin to thank you for all the wonderful presents. I wish you a very Happy Valentines Day hoping you know how many people truly treasure and love you. Thanks for letting me get to know you just a little bit more.

Well, I'm saving my Valentines box for tomorrow, but I'm afraid that the box I'm sending is one of those that didn't make it to the post office yet. And it isn't because of storms, it's because of life (and taking out lots of stitches!). Although since the box isn't sealed yet, my recipient may get something extra if I'm able to make it to the store for after-Valentines specials on Monday -- although we have four of our grandchildren (ages 3 months to 5 years) for the weekend - until Monday night when their parents get back. So if your zip code is 51451, I'm afraid you won't be getting your package for a few more days -especially since Monday is a holiday, too.

Your box just came this afternoon, which is good because I am terrible at keeping unopened packages waiting! She did a wonderful job and I sure appreciate everything! She stuffed the box full of goodies such as - mixed nuts ( she respected my desire to not be tempted with chocolate before my trip to Hawaii in a couple weeks!) , a wonderful looking recipe that I will try when I get back, Some fabric ( the cutest pink and red hearts) and a pattern for a darling table runner - some lovely bath and body products, a very sweet old fashioned sheer handkerchief, 220 - pre-cut 5" squares in various fabrics with pink in them ( !!! ) and then she made a dainty, cute gift card holder as well as a table-top piece that I will use when entertaining - This was sure fun - and again, Vivian - thank you for braving the Ohio snow and getting out this wonderful box of goodies! xoxoxoxox Marcy

WOW - what a great cupid I had - bethstreet - she sent me some wonderful treats - so much in the box it took me some time to get to the bottom. She made the most beautiful table runner with hearts and surrounded by lace - I can't wait to set the dinner table this evening for my husband - thanks to beth my table at home will be just like going out. I have some really nice red fabrics to do up a treat in red, old fashion valentine cards (I am busy picking out something to make my husband a special card), a nice little change purse, suspender pants full of candy treats - a nice novel to curl up with and read - I love to read and the weather here today is snowing, freezing rain VERY COLD maybe this afternoon I will relax and read under a warm quilt. I just love the lapel pin that is shaped like conversation heart candy and says "I love you".

First off let me say Happy Anniversary to you and your husband. What a great day to be married on.

I loved the picture you two make a beautiful pair. She sent me a homemade box that was very impressive. My husband thought it was awesome. She also sent a bag of dove dark chocolates, which I have to hide from my daughter as she is a big dark chocolate fan. She also sent a lace potporri filled sasha. It is gorgeous and smells so wonderful. I also received a heart stencil, a red wood little school which is perfect since I still have a child in school. Ok well a teenager who is just about to start high school. A spool of red ribbon and a receipe for Rocky Road snack cake.

KittyQuilt 9292 I hope you will share will me how you made the valentine box as what a great gift to make. I can think of many uses for it mainly holding fabric in my quilt room. Maybe from all our secret cupids and easter and christmas pals, we could start a pen pal club and maybe once a month send notes and fabric or small quilted items to each other.
