Oh my goodness, I can't believe how quickly some of you are getting your blocks.......your postal service is far better than ours :)

are we going to have a new thread where we can post piccies of our quilt when they're all put tegether, so we can see how different everyones looks, when they've added their own borders etc

the suspense is nigh on killing me.......i must practice more patience LOL

odd... I was looking up the confirmations and O'Dorothy's and Teresas went a different route than the rest of the US'ers.... so they are taking a little longer... wonder why those two went one way and the others went the other way?

Jules, their blocks are getting to their homes so quickly because they don't have the long swim your's will have to make... ;-)

WOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!! My blocks were in my mail box last night when I got home. I'm sorry, I was so excited, I didn't count them, I just looked and oooohhhhhed and aaaaaaaawwwwwwwwed over them. Then I carefully put them back into the ziplock bag so they won't get dirty. Thank you so much, Chriss for hosting this swap. After being burned before, I wasn't sure, but you have restored my faith. And than you everyone for all your hard work. Jules, your block was definitely worth the wait. I'm totally not sure how I am going to put them together, but something will come to me. Now I guess I need to try and find the rest of the mail from yesterday and see what bills were in there, too.

THEY ARE HERE!!!!!! And so quick, too!! They got re-routed to Oxford, Ohio...(wrong..should be Cincinnati..)so they would have been here sooner. It is amazing how fast...what is it, something like 3000 miles??

They are beautiful!!! You girls have done an amazing job on these blocks..I'm so impressed!! What a gorgeous quilt this will make!! I did count..all 20 are here.

Chriss, you did an outstanding job on this swap...you deserve a medal!! It just proves what can be done if everyone just communicates.

THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!!

Hugs,
Joanne

Got mine this morning!!! Whoooo Hoooo!!!

Looked at them, but haven't counted!! :) Can't wait....

Think the sashing will be from Hobby Lobby - the white with blue letters - the Pledge of Allegiance!! Then, maybe, just maybe another border all around... I think that would be cool!!!

My blocks came today, too! Funny Post Office. You guys on the east coast got them a day or even two sooner than I did, and I just live up the 'road' (the Road being Interstate-5) from Chriss. A mere 1,100 miles. But aren't they all gorgeous! Everyone worked so hard and they are all perfect! I can't wait to lay them all out, but first - must vacuum the floor free of pet hair!

Thank you, Chriss! You are a terrific swap hostess!

Well, I'm at my DS's house this week watching the DGK's so I won't know until Sunday, when I go home, if my blocks came. I'm really anxious to see all of them.....I just know they are all beautiful!!!

Mine didn't make it today but there's always tomorrow....I did notice a rather loud noise in the sky and I figured that was the mail plane going east with Kittyquilt's blocks...I have a feeling mine are going to be more than ready to escape from the envelope...Oh the stories they will tell!
