I've received my blocks.

Maryq - love the black sashing without the corner stones.

I was "auditioning" sashing this morning and DH and I both thought the black would look better a bit thinner. It seemed to have a "black band" look to it rather than a "stained glass" effect.

But I happened to have a black fabric with green shamrocks on it. and don't tell Chriss, but it also has gold glitter. I used four blocks for my table topper. Now, contemplating what to use for backing, I thought I should just make it Valentine and flip it over when I flip the calendar page. So, in a fit of sequences, I'm now in the middle of making some Valentine blocks, too.

UGH!!! glitter.

MaryQ- I like the black with no cornerstones as well.
MaryZ- Love the shamrock idea for the border.
Chriss- LOL glitter. I like glitter for a few things . But if I am going to use it in a throw, I usually don't want to have glitter all over me. I am thinking I will make either one or two throws out of these blocks.
