I worked 20 minutes on the Blazing Star. I need to rip out some of what I sewed yesterday.
Thanks everyone for your nice comments. It sure is nice to get some of my old projects completed. Thanks DJ
Yes Sarah, it would great to be next door sewing buddies. I don't think we would get much else accomplished.

RedtopThose quilts are beautiful!! I never cared a lot for the Umbrella girls or sunbonnet Sues but yours are wonderful! I like them all but I really like the star quilt. You've done a wonderful job on all of them!
I didn't get ANY sewing done today. I've been bad!

Well, not sure what we were supposed to work on today, but I worked on my CW blocks for 30 minutes. Still making HSTs and starting to sew together my 2nd block.

Re: MAY MAKEOVER MADNESS - COMPLETE
Only got to 3 projects today, but made good progress on those:
#1, disaster block top, it has to wait until tomorrow!
#2, pillowcases, 15 min, border bands pinned and ready to sew on 4 more cases
#3, pink brigade, 95 min, press, layout hearts into blocks, sew together into 12 blocks. They're all ready for sashing!
#4, blue scarves--This on is FINISHED
#5, Teapot applique blocks, 35 min, 1 teapot's fusible sewn on
Thanks, Redtop, Raggedy Ann and Andy have been with me for about 26 years. A friend of mine had them made for me while I lived in Montana.
Sadiedaisy1, we just "pretended" that DJ threw #6, so you could work on any project. We just hope that she is okay and is having company or resting.
Abigail, you weren't bad, there are just some times when the body says, whoa, I gotta take a little break. And we need to listen. Hope you get some rest, not too much outside work! LOL
Happy Holiday everyone, and happy sewing, catch up tomorrow. carol/kittyquilt

Re: MAY MAKEOVER MADNESS - COMPLETE
I can usually get a little sewing in when I'm on night shifts but yesterday I guess all my yard work caught up with me. I got in bed about 8:00 am and didn't get up until about 3:00. Just couldn't get going on anything. Maybe when I get home in the morning I'll get a little done. Hope everyone is sleeping well! ~Abbigail~
