lois usually in about a week it will show up on youtube:)

Ok here is my scrappy dresden. I cut each block out by itself LOL ok didnt read instructions. will do it her way next time LOL

I plan to lay mine and pin and then do blanket stitch not fuseable. I did that technique once and didnt like it so much; lots of work.

photobucket again being stinker and wouldnt save resize UGH so here is giant dresden LOL all from scraps I just randomly pulled from bag:)

OOOOooooooo..Ahhhhhh..Pretty..:)..MY choice over batiks any day..
I'm with you, Izzy..about using a different method..
I am going to do mine the way she did it in the Egg Money Quilts book and adapt it with the 4 points..the center I am going to piece the ovals to my center circle like I did before on another Dresden I did a gazillion years ago..:)..I am looking for the original now..Sonya.

Edited for spelling..naturally..:)

Question after you finish your sampler how long do you have to send your picture if you want to try and get it into the book.?

Lois I think I will pin and hand stitch dresdens down; then will fuse the lil red leaf centers down and stitch around. I may cut a circle of fusible and iron to dresden to keep it in place as I sew it. I really want mine to look antique:) so I want to do it by hand:)

I have all my blades cut for 9 dresdens like her quilt:) I cant wait to see how they look all together. I am sewing the 4 sets now. I still have to cut out all my red points and leaf centers. or what ever you call that center LOL

izzy

I am guessing you will have about a month after last show maybe longer:) it always takes while for book to publish:) but if you do a quilt each month you will have longer to work on them:)

No problem at all lois:) So have you decided on color scheme for yours yet? are you going to do the quilt each month or just the sampler blocks?
