ok, at first my intention was to send these blocks with the September lotto blocks. Then, these weren't cooperating, so I just addressed the envelope and put the September blocks in it and left it open as I needed the $2.00 and it was in my purse up stairs. Well, the first set I did didn't go together very well and I had cut out and started a second set, figuring I would keep the first set for me. Because I had started the second set, I said to myself, just sew these together and get them out of the way and next week we can work on getting the ones done for the lotto. Well, wouldn't you know it, because I wasn't trying to make them perfect, they turned out pretty good. So, here are the ones I sent with the September lotto blocks (good thing I didn't seal the envelope). This was a tricky block and I don't think I will be making that quilt any time soon.
and using the leftover 1/2 square triangles and making a couple more, here is the one I am keeping for me
So now I have a month and 1/2 to get christmas sewing done. I know what I am making, have all the fabric and batting and thread, etc., just need to get them sewn.
