Pam - I hate to loose you. If you do get a chance to make some blocks over the Memorial Day weekend you will still have time to get them in the mail by the 31st with a tracking number. They might get to me a day or 2 after the 1st but with the tracking number I know they are coming and you will still receive tickets.
If it is easier on you to just make the Double Layer Cake Blocks that would be great as well.
Whatever works for you with no stress Want this to be FUN!!

Ok, here is my peony, for what its worth. The one on the right is a bunch of peonies. The is the one I am sending. The one on the left is my "hybrid bunch of peonies". This is the one I am keeping for me.





Also, Teresa, you said to pick out candy apple reds and blue with stars or polka dots for June. Will these work? If so, I am in, if not, please post a sample and I will see if I have any.





Edited to add that I will mail mine with Lisa on the 29th (28th is a holiday). Will post the tracking number when I get it.

Jo - Love the blue and red colors!!! I love the Polka Dots. PERFECT!!

As soon as everyone has let me know that their blocks are in the mail I will post June's Lotto block. I see lots and lots made....

We will be using a great contrast of Red, White and Blues for July 4th!!! Blue with white stars, Red with blue stars, blue with small polka dots.
Lots of inspiration when you google patriotic prints.

Make sure you have "Candy Apple Red" fabrics and "Light Navy or Dark Royal Blue's. Think the colors of the Flag ...

I am going to try and get to the post office today. I don't have any of those fabrics for next month and since I just bought for another quilt can buy anymore fabric right now so guess I will just watch next month. Can't wait to see what Teresa is up to.

Boy I am sure brain dead this month. I was putting some things on my sewing table away yesterday and I found 4 leaves for the peony blocks. I asked myself why I made 8 leaves when I was only intending on making 2 blocks, but never did answer myself. Now, this morning, as I scroll through to look at everyone's pictures, I realize that mine don't have any leaves on them. No I didn't make 8 only made 4 but forgot to put them on. That is tops on my list today, as soon as I get back from town. Glad I'm not mailing until next tuesday.
