We, that is actually machine embroidered applique. It was a kit from Delco Home Sew a few years back and my local store had a special on them, I think is was 5 or 6 for $100.00. The kits come with 5 designs and pre-cut applique fabric to stitch out 3 of each design. I figured that when the fabric ran out, I could just use my own. It has worked so far. However, the fabric on these machines is the fabric that came in the kit as I hadn't opened this one yet.

Mary, I received your blocks in the mail today. I do not know your screen name but these are the cutest darn blocks. For you who don't get to see them, they are little jars that appear to be sitting on a wooden shelf all filled up with sewing supplies. The workmanship is great! Is that the Windsor that is close to Vacaville?

WOW - they got there quick. Thanks. I am glad you like them. Joanne I will be more than glad to take a picture of ALL the blocks right after my name is picked and I put then all together. -grin-
I have my prayers sent up above for you to "Pick me" - giggle -

I love this fabric. Now you can see why I had such a hard time trying to figure out a block where I didn't have to cut the fabric. Then it hit me - Simple is good. The corners squares were a last minute touch. I used the fabric in my friends birthday present and it was just sitting on the table screaming at me "USE ME!" LOL
ENJOY!

Sorry Valerie I did forget to put my screen name on them.
And yes Windsor is west of vacaville. My sil used to live in fairfield. We usually go to the Nugget for coffee when we are heading up 80.
