I received my terrific sp gift from Beatr.... Beatrice, thank you so much for the Ghiradelli candy which is now hidden in a safe place that DH's and DGD's can't find.... and the great fabric...and I did need a new fabric pen...and it's erasable... there are needle threaders too... I have never used them but have always wanted to try.

and the funnest things are the retractable magnet for picking up pins that fall in the carpet... my bear feet will love you forever.... and a very cool tapemeasure that measures not only inches but yard incriments from 1/16th to 7/8th's of a yard...

I loved your note... you built a beautiful log cabin...

thankyou so so much Beatrice, I love everything....

Dear Loretta:

Thank you, thank you, thank you for my wonderful January gifts!! I needed the calendar definitely with two high schoolers, a middler schooler and DH who are busy, busy, busy!!

The twix bars came to work with me. They are the perfect size for my post gastric bypass tummy when I just need a bite of something. (Yes, I know I should not be eating chocolate, but sometimes the pain is worth it! Thank God for pain pills!)

I love the charm pack as well! They will be used in my next project. And oh, I can't remember the rest -- I knew I should have written it all down!

Thank you again!

Deb

I finally mailed my SP her package on Friday, but didn't get to post. Hopefully it will arrive on Monday, but she has a P.O. Box (hint!) so she'll have to go to the post office to find out. Sorry for being so late.

Dear Maureen (MeagsMom) - I received my box of goodies today, Thank you so much! I loved the fabric, I've never had a charm pack before! All the colors are just beautiful! I didn't mention it in my post but I LOVE Mary Engelbriet, how did you know? The post-its are so cute, I've already used several. The bodkin ( I love that word), seam guage and pins will all be put to good use. The photo album and pattern were nice too. My mother-in-law loves butterflies & I'll use the pattern for something to surprise her. Thanks you for all the goodies, it was so much fun to read your letter & learn a little about a fellow quilter. Thanks again, Kristi

I got my SP package today and immediately sat down to see what suprises came my way. I have to say it was chock full! A package of wonderful floral prints, something I have wanted to start collecting, several very handy notions, like a purple thang, oh, I can't remember what it is called, but the thing to open and close safety pins when you are basting a quilt, LOVE IT! Several other very nice things, like a tiny book of scriptures for women, that is going to stay in my purse, and a nice long letter from Kittyquilt9292 so much fun to get to know someone who lives in a part of the country I have never even visited. We are cold here too, Carol but we do average over 300 days of sunshine!
Thanks again, this was fun, I think I am going to try it again!
Nancy

TheresaK, thank you so much for the great gifts. And your DH did a wonderful job of choosing--I've wanted one for a long time. I have shared the candy with DH--he is so supportive of me and my quilting--he just loves when I get packages with candy!!!!!!!! Everything was wonderful and will be put to good and fun use. Really enjoyed getting to know more about you, you have a busy life but sounds like a fun one..............thanks again, hugs, carol/kittyquilt
