I think I'm going to put some Scotty Dogs in my Butterfly quilt and call it "The Dog and The Butterfly". I LOVE my Dogs - Little Willy and Bratley. I love that song too - "up in the air they like to fly - the dog and the butterfly".

OH POO! This swap completely snuck up on me! I was thinking I had more time on it. Yikes! I'd better plan on them this weekend. Sorry gals. ~Abbigail~

I'd love to see more pictures of your butterflies! I'm hoping to get round two done before sending them in to save on shipping. I don't know if it can be done with all I have taken on.

Question: Is there a size for the traditional quilt block? Can it be smaller than 12 inches?

Vicky - any size between 6 to 12" finished block. Yes, Round 3 blocks should be a different butterfly pattern.

I've sewn, unsewn, sewn, unsewn, sewn....well, you get the picture. I finally got one put together. Not happy with it but I guess it'll be alright. Really just don't like the colors but that's about all I have. Hopefully I'll get the other 5 done today. My next big problem is that I won't be able to get to the post office until Friday. Will that be alright? Whew! ~Abbigail~

Bless you! Bless your sweet heart!
I know how you feel. We women are our own worst enemies, aren't we? I'll bet your blocks are beautiful! Can't wait to see them all.
Good advice - Lay it down and Let it be...
lay down that pecking pesty little perfectionism bug - and squash it on the floor. (I hope I take my own advice). I can never satisfy myself either.
Hope things are going better for you now.

Cathy, I not only threw it on the floor and squashed it....I used a half a can of raid on it! It still came back! I had the same luck with them yesterday as the day before. Fabrics upside down, wrong placement, machine kept eating the edges...you name it. Not a pretty day. Mine are more like caterpillars than butterflies! LOL! ~Abbigail~
