WeSignificant...Very pretty maple leaf! I'm very partial to purple.

Here's my first applique block. I enlarged the "Circle of Life" block from a back issue of F&P's Love of Quilting. So glad to have one of the appliques done! Two more to go and I'll be got up!

Grandma2Davey/Carol - I love this block! I've never seen it before..and I usually read the F&P mags. It is AWESOME!
Well, I finished my maple leaf blocks and have started on my next applique...I don't know if that's the next block, but maybe I can get a "head start"! I do needle turn, so it takes me longer.

Joanne...it was in March/April 2006. Theirs was done in 1930's with red sashing. I fell in love with it and made 150 of the 3 inch circles. I thought I'd make a full size quilt. That's as far as I got, but maybe this will be the year to finish it! Are your adorable snowmen from the Comfort and Joy book by Mary Hickey? DD has been wanting me to make the wall hanging. I can't wait to see the rest of your blocks!

I didn't have my grandchildren today so I did another applique block. Only one more and I'll be caught up!
