Oh boy, I see my package is in my PO Box. I guess I need to pester DH to pick it up. He works near the PO that we have our box at, so he gets to stop & retrieve all of my goodies!!!

Swap update:
The far left vertical row on my quilt is all stitched together! Whee-ha!
I laid all the pieces out on my bed yesterday. Went ahead and followed Alina's original layout; liked it so much I didn't change a thing. The colors and design looked well-balanced to my eye, the pieces got scooped up, squared up, and stitched together.
My mom was admiring it, saying how nice the colors and design look (she always had a very keen eye for color and line). I told her, hey, I don't know what I am going to do with it, but if you really like it, we could hang it on the wall in your new bedroom! She might have thought I was kidding, but I wasn't...I think it would look great as a wall quilt!
One of my goose patches on another row is facing the wrong way, so once that is corrected, I can sew together another row!

Got all four of the vertical rows put together yesterday and barely touched all that laundry...but at the end of the day, I was relaxed and happy.

My top is almost together. I am thinking of how I want to do the borders.
Hope to get it finished tomorrow!
I love it, i am just as impressed as I was when I first saw the thread.

All 4 vertical rows together....my whole family loves it and thinks it's beautiful....maybe it will end up in the living room or dining room of the new house?
Need to look at my stash, and my bank balance, to see if fabrics for borders can be found or purchased soon. I am off this weekend so I plan to make some free time for sewing!

I got all the rows together, but I can't decide on the border. I really want to finish up the entire top today (although I do have homework to do-what fun is that?)
I might end up defaulting to the EQ yellow/blue border.....
