Valerie, I have decided to join this month. I love the look of this block. I was a bit afraid of it, but I took my time and drew some sketches for myself and label each of my fabrics ( I can get confused sometimes, LOL.
I have completed two. If I can find more white, that is tone on tone, I may have enough greens to do at least one more. I think you mentioned that we can even use a solid white.
I am posting a picture of my first two.
Thanks for choosing this pattern. The winner will have an awesome quilt.

I told you I get mixed up easy!!! LOL. Notice my corner block in right hand picture. 😁

I got two done and cut out two more.

Chriss, you are so right about doing a layout before you sew. Especially when I changed fabrics. Grrrr! Had to unstitch again. I fixed the mistake I found via my picture. Now I made another mistake, but found it quicker by following advice from Chriss. Thank you. It pays to just take your time, press each seam and concentrate. 😁💕🧵🪡

Vel this is definitely one of those turn off the TV blocks and focus. The sewing is easy, the getting each fabric in the right place, a bit harder. But.... .

Glad you found your oops Velda. I have fixed mine also

Just about ready to get to sewing. I want to make 2 more so I can send them off

I have to say that this block has helped me have the confidence to try new ones. Can’t wait to see what you have planned for next time

I have been thinking about April. My first choice I am thinking may be a bit boring. So doing a little searching.
