Here is my block. Took me a while to get here, but I think I have it nailed down. Dolly Madison block from QIAD's First Ladies book. The purples are truly purple, though they look blue in the photo.

What it really is Chriss is I bore easily with the same block! Getting old, I guess. I did have to remind myself last night that you must pay attention otherwise your fabric will be going the wrong direction! Yep, rip rip rip!

CHRISS, not to be nit-picky, but you said sign-ups are until Friday, Aug 8. But Friday is Aug 4th or 11th. I ask because I'm considering a second block, but we're leaving in a couple of hours and won't be back until Aug 7th. And I'm not quite ready to commit yet until I get a chance to make a practice block first, but don't want to miss your deadline. If I do make a second one, I'm thinking Solomon's Puzzle.
