WOW Mary!! Your blocks are wonderful up close and personal. Never a doubt that they would be anything less. Great choices of fabrics and wonderful stitching.

I have all my blocks done but need to work on adding the extra flowers. Mine weren't looking so hot but now that I have Mary's and Linda's I have a better idea of what to do. I wasnt cutting mine quite right.

I remember when my Mom first started driving, she was taking my friends and I to go play mini golf and trampoline. The entrance was right next to the freeway (which she never had driven on) and yes she missed the turn in the mini golf and was on the freeway. She was so brave and didn't panic, just told us all to be quiet. She got off at the first exit. We looked back on that day and laughed. For all you Calif. people it was the Ventura Freeway, thank God it was new and not so traveled as it is today.

Joan - your Mom was a great mentor to you. Bravery and calmness don't always go hand in hand. I was white knuckles driving Rob home from UCLA and it is sooooo much worse now than it was then. Hope you had a great time back then playing mini golf. My favorite but no one plays with me - LOL!!!!
