ok, I have another question. I used my layer cakes to cut the squares. I cut them 6 3/4 square. That still left me a little over 2 1/2 X 10 and 2 1/2 X 7" in case I needed extra, (which I ended up needing for one 9 patch, so far.) But my question is this. Do you want me to go ahead and reduce them to 6 1/2". I just hate that pinked edge. It always causes me problems figuring, which is why I cut them a little larger.

Received an email that Connecting Threads got my order. Waiting on fabric is about the hardest thing in the world!
Izzy - that is just too funny. What a great way to start the day. Thanks for the pick me up!

GGRRRRR, *&^#%*&!!!
I cut and sewed several strips, went to cut them and they are 1/16" short. I remeasured and all strips are 2 1/2", seam 1/4". I even tried ironing seams in opposite direction. Back to the cutting board and I don't like ripping seams, but guess I will be.

Lyn - 1/16" is hardly anything - right?
Depending on what thread I am using sometimes I need to use a scant 1/4". I always make a test block to make sure I am set up right. Frogging is tedious especially on long seams. My heart goes out to you. Maybe Velda will help so you can get back to FUN. That's what friends do

Valerie - CT is pretty good with fast delivery. Don't think you will have to wait very long. Anticipation is half the FUN!!!
Izzy - Still can't stop giggling!!!

The fabric mail man must be off today. No fabric in the mailbox.
