I am a little behind this month as i have spent the last week in the hospital. I have a severe case of cellulitis in my legs and had to be admitted so they could pump me full of antibiotics. i am off work until next monday but havent felt like sewing. have to prop my feet up a lot. The good news is its under control and the massive swelling in my feet has gone away. I am happy to report that my shoes are now too big. lol i am still on two antibiotcs, nausea meds, allergy pills for itching, water pills and potassium pills. have to keep a diary of when i take which pill. Whew!!

i still have a few days to get these blocks done and in the mail. My days and nights are so mixed up. I am going to have a hard time getting up to go to work cause all i seem to do is sleep.

Going back to bed now. Talk soon

Teresa, I guess I forgot to tell you I am in this month. I did one block first to make sure that the colors would work and that I had it together the right way. Then I found some fallier (is that really a word?) fabric and made the 4 out of it. But I ran out of background fabric that I was using so I used a similar one for the triangle squares. Will post pictures when I get them done. Am hoping to send these with the October blocks, then I will have the rest of September, all of October and 1/2 of November to work on christmas gifts.

Vivian - Such unexpected news!!! I am very happy to hear that you are healing. Take it easy and slow. You come first!!!

Jo - DO NOT RUSH sewing your blocks. I gave everyone plenty of time for the October blocks so that you have plenty of time to have fun and watch out for the points. This is really important on this block.

Cindy - How are the eyes????

Hi Girls,

I have 3 of mine made and just need to make one more. As I told Teresa I was in the hospital for 5 days and that has put me more behind this month more than I usually am. I will work on the other one this weekend and get it in the mail and post confirmation number.

Tina - Yes I took them out but did a BrainF*** in posting here after I posted in the Christmas Swap. Sorry. I love them and they are perfect to go with the Pals mix. Thank you!!!!

Vivian - Do not overdo it. 3 is good if that is all you can do. Remember your health comes first!!!

Jo - How are you doing? I believe you have made yours and will be sending them with your Christmas blocks? You can mail Octobers blocks later. No rush on those as I know they will take a bit of time :) :) :)

Hi, Teresa. I wasn't able to get to the post office this week. I have to go out on Monday, so I will definitely get them in the mail then. Will post a tracking number as soon as I have it. I am not in the Christmas swap but was hoping to get the october ones done early and send them all together. Well, as they say, the best laid plans oft go astray. The october blocks don't want to cooperate so I will do them and send them in October.

Hi all
thank you for the updates. Please let me know when you have mailed them so I can watch for them. I usually give my PO guy a heads-up as well plus some cookies to sweeten the deal :) :)

Hi Pals - Please keep Vivian in your prayers. She is back in the hospital for cellulitis. Seems it is not going away without massive amounts of antibiotics.
She was not able to finish her blocks this month.
You come first Vivian so we will see you when you are healthy and able to enjoy sewing again!!!!
