Valerie - Not to worry. This is what I love about the swaps. They are month to month and sometimes life happenings get in the way every now and then and we can't do one so we will catch you next month when hopefully life will give you a bit of time to join us.
Can't wait to see this little girls quilt you will be making with the lotto blocks from last month. Those were some very fun colors.
Also can't wait to see the other quilts from the what looked like 1800's colors.
I keep wondering if I should have kept all the yellow ones together. I saw a quilt at the guild meeting I went to as a guest the other night and it was in that same color scheme and I believe a good many of those fabrics. Sorry Pals
Just thinking out loud here ... for those who won those blocks ... There were 10 sets ... If you would like to send the yellow, black and white blocks back when you mail me you blocks for this month I will pull a ticket for someone to win these.
If this is something you would like to do let me know. If you would like to keep them that is also cool
HAPPY STITCHIN'!

I finished the wedding wall hanging last night and had fully intended to finish my block lotto blocks tonight. Well, those plans have been changed for me. I now have to go find a b-day present for a 2 yr old who LOVES thomas the train. Hoping Wally World has something 'cuz I don't want to have to drive any farther. Then his b-day party is tomorrow night and then the wedding on Friday night. So help me, if anyone, ANYONE AT ALL, changes my plans for Saturday ... well just hope they will let me have my sewing machine in Sing Sing (LOL). And then my youngest son (age 32) says, "well, you were just gonna sew". So, I should have them ready to go in Monday's mail. Then on to the winter swap blocks. All cut and ready to applique, just need some sewing room time.

Jo - Sounds like you have a "Let's celebrate" weekend coming up. Hope you enjoy all the little moments along with the big ones and then get some sewing time in to top it all off. I made my 3yr old DGS a Thomas the Train pillowcase from the fabric I picked up with with some pajama's I found at Wallmart. He loves them both. Now comes the dinosaurs.
Mel - My mind is wondering what your single block would look like if you switched the green and the yellow. Hmmmm I think I will have to try it with some of my fabric.

My blocks are done and will be mailed in the morning.
Thank you ladies. It took me a while to figure out what colors to go with. I thought just grab some material and sew---ha. But it was fun in the end.
