Thank you very much for the SP package. If my husband didn't have a home office and collect the mail each day I would have posted sooner. Yes the day my package arrived my DH beat me home and collected the mail, walked into the house and promptly dropped it in his office. It wasn't until last night he brought the package upstairs and said I think this came a few days ago.....DOG HOUSE is where he was sent. The pattern books are lovely and my favorite time of year is Fall so the pumpkin project is wonderful. The color of fabric choice is beautiful I can't wait to dive into that for a Fall theme. These days with so much on my mind an extra note pad is a priceless item also. I just loved everything you sent to me. I am sorry it took me a few days to respond. DH's should not be allowed to touch the mailbox. Larie (ljautumn)

My SP for the month was Judyquilts (Judy). Thank you so much Judy for your thoughtful package. I loved it. The fabrics were so me. If I would have seen them I would have bought them. My kids and I enjoyed the M&M's and the note pad is on the fridge, and the hamper is going to the Dell's with us this week and will definitely be used. I also loved your note. I think that is the best part is to get to know your fellow quilting friends. I am soooo glad you joined this swap. You will really like it!!! Thank you again and take care! Your friend, Erica

Larie, dont' be too hard on your husband ( unless it gets you diamonds) I have that same husband...lol... I am glad you enjoyed everything... Ihave had those cross stitch booklets forever and when I saw that you cross stitched I was so happy to have someone to finally send them to....

my sp package came today from LorettaV... how wonderful it was to come home to a present... and so full of goodies too...two beautiful FQ's one is a great bluegreen that would work well for ocean or sky... the other is the coolest shade of green/brown and it has rust colored leaves on iy.. I keep opening it up and folding it back up... I really love it...and there are some very much needed sewing machine needles... and the rest of the stuff I have never tried and am anxious to do so.. clips to roll your quilt so you can hand or machine quilt it... I have always wanted to try them... and a ruler handle... it has a suction cup on it so you hold your ruler still and it won't slide... very neat... and finally a fabric eraser... I have no idea why anyone would want to erase fabric....but I will give it a try...lol...( it's really to erase pencil marks...) I really want to check this out and see how it works...

Wow! Got back from vacation to find two packages waiting for me.

My August Secret Pal is Mary (Maryq) and she sent a wonderful note about herself and some beautiful fat quarters a super journal and a purple and green zipper bag to hold my crochet hooks or a counted cross stich project. Love it all, thanks Mary


I also received a package from my July Secret Pal Rosie (institches w/rosie. She sent a darling Garden Veggies Table Runner pattern by Ladybug Quilt Patters, neat nail file, a cute note pad and pen (great for making lists to take to the fabric shop), a bunch of 5" squares from Lyndhurst Studio (these are great and I have never seen anything like them around here) and a package of designer paper hankerchiefs with a lambs on them. Best of all was the teriffic note she sent along.

Thank you both very much. What a wonderful thing to come home to.

It has been busy at work since I got home but will be sending my August Secret Pals package out tomorrow.
