I only have to sew on the leaves and then I can get them in the mail. Will let you know when that happens. Am still suffering from walking pneumonia and don't feel like doing a lot. Am going to attempt to go to the Fabric Shack in Waynesville Oh today to get more material to use for my granddaughters jar quilt. It is coming along nicely.

Well, #1 block done except the leaves. Went through all my yardage today and I don't have any green that works. Will have to start looking at FQ's.

I'm sending mine in today, Vicky. You didn't mention this but on the other 2 swaps I was in (and didn't have good luck :( (didn't get ANY back on the 1st one and 27 back after sending in 40 on the 2nd) we were told to include our name and forum name with the blocks so everyone would know whose was whose. Hopefully that's okay to do that this time.

I'm still going slow but sure. Have 1 complete..2 more just needs leaves and the first petals sewn on the rest. I'm getting the hang of sewing those curves:)

Going around curves is easier if you reduce the weight of the pressure foot. Mine has a knob on top that goes 1-2-3, 3 being the heaviest. On 1, I don't even have to slow down going around curves.

I'm done!!! Wish I could have reduced the pressure foot weight so it would have been faster but my machine doesn't have that feature. Going to get my sister's camera charged up so I can take some pics before sending them on. Can't believe I acutally got a project done wayyyy before the deadline.

Vicky;

Do you need an envelope enclosed with stamps or just money for postage? Thought I'd better ask.

Thanks,
maggie
