Where in the world is Sunbonnet Sue?

Ladies - Katie says she posted/mailed Sue to me around June 8 or 9th. I have not received her. Things are a little crazy with me and at home but I think I would have noticed a package from Australia. I've done as she asked and gone through each and every swap package and personal package that has come to my house. I'm sorry there isn't a Sue. I have called the post office and they don't remember a package from Australia either, and believe me, that would have been noticed. If there is a way of tracking the package, I think that would be the next step. I will continue to keep an eye out for it. Sorry!!!

well Dj thanks for pipping me at the post I was going to let the ladies know where I sent sue I hopr you find her soon it is a shame that the other ladies won't get to visit with her.

Katie, I too would hate for the ladies to miss their time with Sue. But honestly, I can't find what I haven't received. As I mentioned to Katie, my mail person was on vacation the first two weeks of June. I received 2 PO bins of packages on Tuesday (8 packages) and on Thursday (6 packages) of last week, some of those packages were dated June 8, 2008. I'm hoping it is at the post office. If it was in an envelope it would have been put into the mailbox in the door (which falls directly in the house) but if it were a package it would have been left on the porch. I will keep an eye out for her and let you know as soon as I either receive it or get an answer from the post office.

Oh, don't worry, if the original Sue has gone missing, we can always make another. It may take me a bit, I am in the middle of a lot of non quilty stuff, but I can whip one up in a day or two. The biggest problem would be the list. When I had to reformat, I lost it, so please re PM me with your name and address and we can reconstruct everything. My philosophy is that most anything can be fixed, and this is no exception.

Dj we do not have envelopes any different from what you use there the only difference would have been the stamps,if this is causing any embarrassment I apologise.

No I'm not embarassed, just feeling a bit stressed. I realize the envelopes are the same. What I was trying to find out was if it were sent by Priority Mail and could it be traced. If so, please provide a number and I will go to the PO in the morning.

Sue has not come to me as of yet. I have been checking the mail everyday. I still have my fingers crossed that she will show up. However, I move this weekend. I have put in a change of address but I surely don't want that to add to the problem of her getting to me.
