Mary - LOVE your blocks. I know which one is my favorite but up close and personal one never knows. WONDERFUL colors and I love the variety. If anyone has a favorite let me know and I will do my best to remember. Tell me the row across A,B,C,D,E and which one down :) Right now I am partial to B-4

Tina - tomorrow is MONDAY!!!!! You should have heard the others when I told them that they will have company very soon. OMGoodness the shouts of jubilee was earblowing!!!! teehee

Thank you Joan for clearing up the confusion before I got back here. I did send PM's but didn't have time to get to the thread before I was taken away (needed by DH). You all have it correct. Only 20 blocks needed :) :)

***************************************
We are all about Communication here and I know how many of you feel about commitments needing to be met so I need to share a concern that you need to know about.
I received a PM from Sewsalot (Tina) who has had an injury to her shoulder. 2 weeks into the healing process she was going to the bathroom one night and slipped and slammed her shoulder up against the door frame and was right back where she started from. A week later sprained her ankle trying not to fall again injuring her shoulder a 2nd time.
She does not want to back out or change her block. She has asked for an extension to be able to finish up the rest of the blocks and get them in the mail. She believes she can finish the rest of the blocks with some extra time.
I sent a PM asking her a few questions. What she is able to do without difficulty or putting her in a position of any more injury and how can we help. Cutting fabrics with a shoulder injury is bad news.
She is making the Flying Four Patch. She has 8 made already. I do not believe we need to make blocks for her. I think what will help is either the extension if and only if she is able to make them or (As Hostess and mailing only once) sending the fabrics to me so I can cut the fabrics you will need for the block and you being willing to make yours using her fabric.
I am waiting for an answer. I will keep you informed when I receive communication. We all know injuries happen in a heartbeat. I hope you will keep her in your prayers and not be to upset about the possibility of the time extension.
HUGSssssssssssssss and BLESSINGssssssssssss

I don't have a problem with sewing her block with cut fabric sent. If it's an extension, how much more time are we talking about?

I asked for the cut off time to be the 15th instead of the 1st. I would like to finish these myself so I feel like I contributed to the project..

Here's my two cents on the subject. I have no problem with the time extension for Tina ( but for the grace of God go I ). As we all know I'm sure, life has ways of screwing up our lives and schedules from time to time. I commend her for getting in touch with Teresa now and not waiting until we were all thinking the end was near. Thank you Tina! I am also fine with receiving the fabrics and making the block myself.
Now, on the subject of beautiful blocks, I really love the one in row C #5. I will be happy with anyone I get though.

I'm fine with whatever you decide. I ditto a lot of the comments already said. Hope Tina, that your shoulder will heal quickly.

Now, on the subject of beautiful blocks, I really love the one in row B-1.

Love the Santa!

So many beautiful blocks!

Like others I think we should do the extension, so that Tina can heal up and have time to sew her blocks. If she is still unable, I have no problem sewing the block.

Take care of yourself Tina, healing that shoulder is much more important.
