I didn't think I'd like the blue and red together but boy does it look great!

Let me know as soon as mine arrive and if they look okay.

Debbie- your blocks look great! I was going to post on here last night, but hubby's computer died and he was using mine for school, so I had to wait till today.

Wooo hoo! we are almost there. Marcia has mailed her blocks and they are due to arrive here on Monday. So I will get ready to sort and mail them all back out the next day.

I just want to let everyone know that I am still going to host the fall swap that I was talking about. So keep that in mind when you are hunting through block patterns if you join the Halloween swap. I will post it the first of Sept. It will be a 10 1/2 inch block, (It will be a smaller one for a throw size quilt). Fall Theme- applique, pieced embroidered, or a combination ect. I want leaves, trees, acorns, pumpkins,(NOT jackolanterns) anything fall that is not Halloween. You can also just do a pieced block in fall fabrics. Anyway, just wanted to give you the heads up so you can be choosing your blocks. The fall fabrics are out in stores also, if you don't happen to have any.

Hi Ladies, I have to go to the hospital today. I got a call in the middle of the night that youngest DD Lacey, is in there, needing emergency surgery to remove her gall bladder. She is only 29 years old!!! It is 8:30 now and should be going in surgery soon. They had emergency surgeries ahead of her, so she is waiting.
I won't be swapping the blocks today, even though the last set might be here this afternoon, but I will try to get them swapped tomorrow. I didn't sleep all night and now I have to go to be with DD. So sorry for the delay. Please keep her in your prayers. Thanks so much, Vinae

Vinae, prayers for Lacey and you. Don't worry about the blocks, if it takes you a few days there's no problems I'm sure. Take care of you and your family first.

Vinae, prayers for your Lacey. If it's any comfort, I had my gall bladder out in 2003 and I was home in time for lunch. You take all the time you need to tend your DD. No worries or hurries here.
