Thanks to Sally for putting the photo of my Pioneer Sampler on here. I was disappointed not to be able to do the Seminole Border. I was waiting for Camp Cedar Glen to ask for some advice from the very helpful teachers. I had found an extra yard of the border fabric, but didn't realize that I needed extra of the sashing/lattice fabric, too! At that point I just wanted it FINISHED, so did it without the Seminole Border. I'll tackle a Seminole Border another time, promise! Thinking of having the quilt top hand quilted - just seems appropriate for a 'Pioneer' Sampler.

Thanks for your nice comments.

Also at camp, I finished a Stars & Crosses lap quilt top, and an In The Pines Christmas tree wallhanging top. We also had a challenge to make a Jelly Roll Jam quilt - an easy, fast quilt top. One lady at camp did it in just a little over an HOUR!

Oh my Lori...that is so pretty.....I really need to get back to mine. My household isn't really conductive to my sewing....since I sew on my dining room table!! But, I definately have this one toward the front for finishing this winter....Yours looks great. Becky

Lori, I LOVE your Pioneer Sampler! The colors are so perfect for that quilt, and the border is wonderful! You did such a great job.

Mine from the sew-along is in Ohio being quilted by an Amish friend. Hope to have it back soon. I sent it a couple months ago, but she said she would not be able to do it until Fall.
