Yippee!! Happy Day and Happy Dancing!!! Everyone's block pkgs. are on their way to you as we speak!!!!
I weighed the pkgs. on a postal scale and looked up each postal zone by zip code to make sure the amt. of postage I put on them was correct. Right before they left I had a case of "Mother Hen Fever" and felt protective of the little babies, so I put a piece of clear packing tape across the top and bottom of each pkg....just in case. Our receptionist and my DH were making fun of me and assuring me that was not necessary, but to heck with them, I know how hard everyone worked on their blocks...I just had to do it. I escorted our mailman out the door of our office with the tubs of pkgs. and he assured me he did not need my help. Did it anyway, sort of felt like when you say good-bye to your child on their first day of school! LOL! As the mailman finished his route in our business park, I stood outside our door and waved good-bye to the little beauties! I packed them all with care and I cringe at the thought of the post office tossing them around and being rough with them! LOL! I will be very glad to hear that they've all arrived safe and sound to their homes where they will be loved and cherished as they're made into quilts. This is really odd, but after babysitting the little beauties all summer long and keeping an eye on them everyday....it sure looks empty in my office where they made their home all summer! I caught myself glancing at where they'd been and with it empty, thought...OMG!, until I'd remember! ROFLOL!!!
I want to thank you so very much for the very thoughtful and sweet hostess gifts ya'll sent to me along with your blocks. I was so touched by your kindness and each gift is precious to me. Thank you, again. Also, some of you sent more postage than was needed, so I added what was leftover to the Christmas stocking for the troops fund. Thanks to everyone for participating in this and for being so very patient while we waited on those who needed extra time. I can't wait for ya'll to get your pkgs.!!!!!

I'm hoping the surprise is an autographed block from El and Linda! Wouldn't that be awesome?! But maybe it's a life-size picture of GP in her tiarra and boa! LOL
