Beverly- embroidery is fine, can't wait to see what you come up with!
Jacquie and Carolyn, thanks for the input on the key. I am thinking if I move it down too far, it will be too close to the base of the clock. I may leave it up where it is.
Can't wait to see more samples.

I swore not to do another swap for a while and DANG it if you all don't have to post such pretty blocks to make me drool. Vinae did it on purpose too I know LOL:) I will get to making a block today and try to post in a bit UGH you all are killing me LOL

Yay! Izzy!! I am glad you signed up.
Everyone, I have had some request for machine embroidery and I am going to allow it for this swap. This is such a different kind of swap anyway and I am sure it will be very interesting to have a couple of machine embroidery blocks. Just as long as it includes a key. I hope you all don't mind. If you do please let me know.
Oh, I also added some more ideas in the second paragraph above for things your key could open if you haven't thought of anything yet. If there are some out there considering this swap, please check it out. We would love to have you

Vinae, it is fine with me!
I have traced, cut and ironed appliqués for 10 blocks. Will be hand stitching. I will watch for sign-ups and make more.

Ok I got bosses approval LOL so here is my block. I hope you all love it as much as I do. I will probably do different colored birds but wont post so that no confusion or desires are set lol I will let Vinae divy them out with ease.

Izzy- I LOVE IT!!! WOW! So cool! Beautiful!!!
I am getting excited for this quilt now and I might have to do two sets so I can have one for me. My youngest DD gets this quilt for her b-day. She is my inspiration for this swap.

I love the bird and bird cage. Lovely work. Is this machine embroidery. I love machine embroidery, I do not have an embroidery machine. I do appreciate all of machine embroidery.
