Done with Week 8. W-O-W ! ! !
Augusta was an experience. Re-sewed and finally did the block over 3 times. The last one is still wonky, but it's going into the quilt. (Quilt police - no response needed). The other 2 blocks were easy.
I'll make potholders out of the 2 really wonky Augusta blocks! (Makes a great birthday present for my 2 DDs).
Done with quilt #1 for DGD (Pinky), now on to the quilt for DGS (Pinky's brother). Using my Christmas lotto winnings. Will give it to them when I'm finished. It's Christmas everyday!

Oh dear I'm two weeks behind. Today and tomorrow for sure. Thanks Sonya for venting. I was beginning to think it was just me. But onward! It's definitely a challenge to see if they come out anywhere close to 6.5. I am enjoying it and love seeing all the different blocks everyone is making.

Finally finished my blocks for this week. I didn't take the camera upstairs so I will try to post a picture tomorrow. They were a challenge but they came out okay. Hope next weeks blocks are not as challenging! LOL

Thanks! I am enjoying this sew a long ! I liked my scrappy SBS quilt so much I decided to go scrappy again! I think everyone's blocks are beautiful. When I did the SBS quilt many of mine did not measure correctly and/or my points got cut off. I am having much better luck this time and I think it is just because I have had more practice! I can't believe how many blocks we have already completed!!!!
