I mailed 6 blocks today when I mailed the winter blocks. I wanted to finish them and mail them before I posted here that I wanted to this one. They are in the same package. The tracking number is 9114999944238739837841. They will definitely make it before the end of the month.

This block was so easy that I have already made 12 more for me. This one really does go quick. I didn't do the leaf pattern cause I am not up to doing those yet. Hope you like them. I forgot to take a picture of them.

I was looking through my stash for some blenders for my fall blocks and OOOOOOOOOO did I find some pretty focus fabric for these lotto blocks. Can we say PURPLE oh yeah fall and purple LOVELY:)))

Here is a peek at the blocks I entered. I had to use a different dark on one block due to fabric shortage. 4 blocks sent.

I have 3 blocks of one kind (right) and 1 block with the other fabric (left).

I mailed them on Saturday. Teresa, if you need the tracking number, I have it. I thought it best to pay the extra to make sure there is a number to track it. Any more, the post office has been known to loose items. Cheaper in the long run to pay for the number.

I went back to Photo Bucket and tried enhancing the photo. Here's the results:






PS: edited to add: I hate that the colors look so pale. It should be tan, gold, and brown surrounded around the block with the colorful leaves. It looks so pretty in person, the picture looks awful!!

Even after the enhancing, it still does not look like the true colors. Oh, darn!!!

Maryq: I love the brown fabric you used. I just bought some of that for the backing on the "Yellow Brick Road" quilt that I started when the other pals and I met for Meet and Greet Class at Rochester.

I am saving that project to finish when we get to Texas in a couple of weeks.

Can't wait to see more pictures. The ones that have been shared are so pretty.

Now, I have to see if I can figure out a bribe.

Velda - FABulous blocks - no worries about the lighter color. They will go perfectly with Jacquie's blocks and now that I have them the lighter color isn't as light as it is in the picture - Silly camera's Your first picture looks better.
Back in Texas in a couple of weeks???? OH GOODIE!!!! I always love seeing the quilts you and Lyn finish and make sewing together. Always FUN, FUN, FUN to have a sewing partner
